What is the name of this bug?
It was found in a pool in New Jersey.

In case the picture doesn't load, it looks like it has a tan, transparent shell - almost like a beetle - with grasshopper-like legs. The edges of the shell are black and orange.

Ugly little cuss, isn't it? Have no idea but looks like something in the beetle family.

You might want to take the specimen to a biologist for confirmation, but it looks like that has at least 10 legs, which would put it in the crab family. As bleached and drawn up as it is, the physical presence of the specimen would be much better than photos

I recognize this as the nymphal stage of an insect in the order Hemiptera or True Bugs. I can't tell which species this is, but some typical Hemiptera include the seed bugs, toad bugs, water boatmen, etc. I base this ID on the piercing mouthpart, tarsal leg parts, 3 segmented body, and antenna I see in the picture.
