I have received a cival summons on 8/26 for credit card debt that is my debt, I do plan on fileing bankruptcy how do I respond to summons and what comes next in the summons action?

If you are going to file bk let the attorney that is handling your case do the paper work that is required Once the bk is filed it stopes all legal action until you go to bk court.

You want to file prior to the court date. Do you need to "buy" time before they get a judgement to file

Yes I would like more time how do I answer this summons and I have not found a lawyer yet
