    Wiring up a digital thermostat
I had a white and rodgers heat pump thermostat and while I was on vacation, it went bad. I went out and bought a 7 day digital hunters thermostat. Well stupid me did not mark the wires when I took it off the old one. Now I don't know how to place the wires with the new one. I have 1white, 1 red, 1 orange, 1 blue, 1 green, 1 yellow. I am lost, please help.

Follow the wire color code that is in the directions that came with the new thermostat hopefully the original contractor that wired the system followed that standard code also.
