    Hi Debbietaff,

I've never heard of those being causes of blocked salivary glands. Salivary glands normally get blocked due to a stone that is caused by the salts in the saliva. The stone causes saliva to back up in the duct and causes it to swell.

If you have been having a problem with this for some time, you should see your dentist to have it assessed.
