    Another search on the internet..

Peachford Hospital-Atlanta GA Complaints - Abuse of Mentally Ill

That's all I found. I have never even been to Georgia. I just googled "Peachford Hospital complaints". It's one complaint though, and anyone can say anything on the internet. Use at your discretion.

Since this is a worldwide website, smarty, it's going to be hard to find someone here who has firsthand knowledge of the hospital.

I was at Peachford in the adolescent unit for ten days, admitted because of a suicide attempt.
The "professionals" in the unit were, frankly, idiots. They were not equipped with the skills to treat, or even baby sit, mentally unstable people. They treated all thirty six of us--close to the record number of adolescent patients--as if we had committed a crime. This atmosphere increased a feeling of guilt or wrongdoing in the patients' minds, a psychiatric "no-no." There was one girl in the unit with anorexia. It was made clear the staff had absolutely NO experience or knowledge of treating eating disorders when they punished her, PUNISHED her, for not eating. What was the punishment? They told her she couldn't shower that day.
If this sick abuse of power and position is appealing to you or any others reading this, feel free to admit your loved ones there. Don't be surprised when they come out more screwed up than they were to begin with.
