I'm trying to remember this movie its about a gas station owner who digs up a box full of snakes that he shouldn't have and gets cursed and is like murderer almost jeeper creeper kind of thing he can't fly and drives a big truck

It sounds like Holes except for the gas station owner part. The part with the curse and snakes sounds a lot like it though. Holes is also a book.
