    Husband is expecting a baby with other women
    My husband is having a baby with a other women , Im all ready OK with it... I wanted to now well we my husband and I would like to now if the baby mother does not want the baby could my husband just keep it if he is on the birth cirtificate of course with the mother permision. She has told us that she could not handle a other child she has 3 more and she is willing to give all rights to my husband does he need legall documents or with her giving all rights away is OK

    He can go to court and file for full/sole custody.

    We were separated for 6 months so we both saw different people. And in the end a baby I think does not have any fault in anything right

    Oh of course it's not the baby's fault. I was just curious as to the circumstances. As long as you and he worked things out, then that's what's most important, besides the child.
    Just be sure you're willing to accept that child as 100% yours if he gains full custody. Which I'm sure you will. It's not any different from adopting.

    First, please pay more attention to the posting guidelines here. At the top of the Children forum (where this was moved from) is a Read First sticky that directs legal questions to this forum.

    Once the baby is born, he will need to go to the local Family Court and apply for full custody. If the mother does not object, then it should be a slam dunk.

    The mother will not, however, be able to sign over her rights unless you also apply to adopt the child. So I would strongly advise consulting an attorney to prepare the application for custody and adoption.
