I just recentlyhad my PC revamped and I've been trying to get my hotmail acct working through Microsoft Outlook, I set this up before with no problems, not only is the account not synchronizing my folders and contacts but I keep getting the following error message.


Task 'Hotmail - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC33) : 'Access to the account was denied. Verify that your username and password are correct.The server responded 'Forbidden'. '

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Sounds as though your hotmail account is not a pop account. Yahoo offer a pop account if you pay. Do hotmail offer this? Do you pay for your hotmail account?

No my hotmail acct is free. It's all good though, I'm using Windows Live Mail instead. But thanks anyway.
