Recently I've been unable to play video clips, e.g.. From YouTube or any other sites with streaming video. Can anyone help?

If you could before and cannot now; what changed in the interim. Add a program? Updated a program? If you are on a Windows machine, something changed your Registry.
I find YouTube to be very variable in its content; some of it crashes some of my testing machines.
