In my kitchen I have two thee way switches, I bought a motion light switch that says it for a single pole application. From the wall there us 2 black and 1 white wire, and on the new switch it has 2 black and 1 green ground wire. Is it possible to use this new switch to replace one if the old ones, or steps to do so. I know that the power goes into the switch ( one by the sink) first. Also I can plug my microwave into one socket and the microwave makes a tiny buzz/hum noise but if I plug it into to another socket like 2 feet away it doesn't make that noise, any reason for that. It is a pretty new microwave. Also my hall and bathroom lights both basic CF bulds, lately they Seams like there very, very lightly flickering, like there not reaching full power or at the right hertz or something. I've tried other compact flash bulbs same thing (plain old bulds work fine). What could cause this. Last thing when my refridge cycles most the lights dim lightly for a second, anyway of stopping this?

The motion sensor switch can not be used in conjunction with a 3-way switch. It can be used stand alone if the power is coming to the switch box where you want to use it. It can be used stand alone if the power is being fed to the other switch and you are willing to rewire and eliminate the other switch. It cannot be used if power is being fed to the light fixture. If you only have three wires in the switch box where you want to use it, power is not being fed to that box. That wiring should be black, red and white. Not black, black and white.

The other symptoms you describe sound like a loose connection in the wiring of one of the circuits in your kitchen. That loose connection could be in the neutral. When you move the microwave from one outlet to another you moved it to another circuit.
