Hi. I am pretty uneducated about computers and I am in a bind. First, internet explorer stopped working on my computer. Every time I tried to use it it would say, "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and has to close" so I switched to Safari. But still, I can't download anything. If I try to, Safari will give me the same message, and then close spontaneously. I bought a video camera, and I could not even upload the software. It wouldn't install. Then I tried again, and it said it was partially installed so I couldn't install it again. I just tried to get a website started on bluehost, and when I try to go through their little tutorial, Safari says "encountered a problem have to close" every single time. I can't download wordpress. I am really frustrated! A friend told me to check to see if my firewall is too high or something. I looked at it on the control panel and the windows firewall was off! And the norton one was on, even though I don't pay for it. I left it on, thinking that it would be good to have one of them on.
Any suggestions? Oh yeah, and I have a Windows Vista PC... Thank you for any advice you have!! :)
