    molarity is the number of moles of a substance per liter. AgNO3 has a molar mass of 169.9 g/mol. 10 g AgNO3 is 10 g / 169.9 g/mol = 0.05886 mol. This dissolved in 500 mL is the same ratio as 2 * 0.05886 mol / L or 0.118 M
