My boyfriend and I have been dating for 12 months sometimes he tells me he loves me . I'm really confused because although we are both in our 40s he isn't ready to comitt again. If someone really loves you surely they would make plans for the future, sometimes he will say he wants me to move in then he changes his mind my other problem is he chats away on dating sites to other women, he tells me he doesn't need to meet another woman because he would never find another like me. And so far he hasn't. Is he just addicted to these sites or is he playing me

A year may not be enough time for future plans to be decided, but for sure his chatting online, and dating you, is a red flag for you to pay attention to. Very close attention.

Whatever his reasons it can't be good, and I wouldn't have high expectations, nor a lot of trust at this point. You better be more than careful, and not hold your breath hoping for a future with this one.

I suspect he will tell you anything to keep you hanging around and hopeful

He has some very suspicious behavior.

Ask yourself, is this the type of relationship you want to be in? Always second guessing his actions? Unsure of where your relationship is heading? Unsure of how he really feels about you?

With so much unsecurity, how is there any stability or healthy relationship?

I suggest that you try to work things out or just move on and find someone else, but don't drag things out by continuing to suffer.
