This is driving me crazy! This movie is from the late 80's or 90's. All I remember is that there is a little boy who is in his room upset and a parade goes by and the conductor invites him along and he goes off to a castle in the sky or something. Then later in the movie he opens up a door and some black blob comes out and takes over. In the end he's in his room again and the parade goes by again and he is invited back. I'm pretty sure it's a movie and not a dream. Id really apreciate some help, thanks

I know which one your talking about, he was mad at his parents and his bed took him to the other world and the king gave him the key for the door for the darkness(the black blob) and he was tempted into opening it and then he had to save the kingdom
