Probably a stuck key on the keypad. If the controller detects a key is stuck in the depressed position, dishwasher operation will be suspended, and the light for that key will flash, if there is one. If a key without a light is stuck or multiple keys are stuck, then the lock-out light will flash.

You can reset the controller in the dishwasher, by removing power to the dishwasher for a brief period, then back on. You can do this at the main circuit breaker box to your home, by switching off the circuit breaker for the dishwasher.
