My Maytag dryer, Model LDE512 Series 02, squeaks/squeals for 1-2 minutes after pushing the start button, then subsides. It only squeals on a cold start. It may squeak a couple times on a warm start... seems it should squeal all the time if it were bearings... help please??

This has been covered many time on this list. You will probably have to take the unit apart and lubricate or replace any worn parts. Sometimes spray type lube will help but it is only temporary.
