I recently got arrested for theft under $5000 for the first time I know it was dumb but I wasn't thinkning!. I signed a promise to appear paper where it says I promise to attended fingerprinting and court.. but now my family want to got to a party in the US and I live in vancouver before the fingerprinting and the court date!. can I still go to the US before these dates?

If your pretrial instructions don't say you can't, and if you'll be back before the dates, sure you can go.

As long as the court did not order you not to go out of the area and you will be back I see no reason why you can't
