I was recently given a 1990 Ford F-250 with a 4.9 in line 6 cylinder. What would be required to convert it to accomidate a deisel engine, Thank you

For starters the motor. Then a complete new fuel system, heavier springs in the front to accommodate the added weight. Would be far simpler to change that 6 banger out for a small block V8 gas motor.
