I have one more question for you guys, when I signed the contract for the lease that is about to expire, was done only with my signature and the owner of the property, no witnesses or notay. This contract is valid anyway?

This should be combined with original question - please don't start new threads with additional info.
Does the contract require that the signatures be notarized?
It is my opinion that a notary is not/was not necessary. Leases/contracts are signed all the time without the benefit of a notary, particularly if the parties are familiar with each other. All a notary does is guarantee that the person who signed is the person who is supposed to sign.
