    Strange job interview
What do you think this means when asked at a second and third job interview?

What would you do if you got the job and an internal candidate applied?

To me this means that someone from inside the company who is as qualified, or more qualified than you has applied and you won the job.

    So, what would you do?

How would you answer that question and what is the interviewer looking for?

The interviewer is looking for why you think you are more qualified than the internal candidate.

One thing I would say is that the company could train me from the ground up, whereas the internal candidate would have to be RETRAiNED.
