My Craftsman lawn tractor won't start. I have changed the solenoid but when I turn the key there is still a clicking sound. Do I have to change the starter now?

Check for a bad eletrical connection; dirty battery terminals or some other terminal. It is the most likely, and should at first be eliminated.

I have changed the battery, so that is brand new and the manual says to check the solenoid and starter. I have changed the solenoid.

Can you turn the engine by putting your hand on the top of the engine where the screen is and spinning it?

Well, if you can't then the problem may not electrical but something internal in the engine.

If you can then we need to troubleshoot a little more.
