    Felony Conviction Exspongement
I have been on probation for about eleven years and just recently got off. I was wondering if a person in Tennessee that was convicted of a felony over eleven years ago and is attending college and trying to make a huge change can their record be exsponged.

    Hello big:

I'm sure it can, but I think you're going to have to wait a while longer. Usually states want 10 years or so of criminal free conduct before they would even consider an application for expungement... I'll bet time on probation won't count...

But, I'm only guessing... IF you can get one, you're going to need a lawyer to do it anyway. So, it sure wouldn't hurt for you to spend a couple hours on the phone. You'll learn a lot, and you might find a lawyer.
