    Spark plug is not sparking
    Hello,
I have a Featherlite Weedeater that will not start.
I bought a new spark plug for it, and put it in, however it seems that it is not getting any spark at all. Is it a lost cause?

    Thank you,

    Bruce

    Hi,
You must have the plug out and grounded against the cylinder to see if it has fire.
You have the first mentioned condition; will not start.
    Peace,
    Clarke

Think back when u installed the new plug. Did u drop it by any chance? Also it couldve been dropped while at the store u bought it from. Even in the box it can still be easily damaged. The inner porcelon on the plug is very fragile. Although it may not appear damaged it could be. Go buy another plug n try again. If it still won't start hit me up

    KISS

    Reminders:

    Make sure it's gapped correctly.

Spark intensity will be higher inside the engine than observed outside.
