Hello,
I have two questions:

ANIME 1:
I remember watching an animation about two orphaned girls that grew up together from babies (I don't think they were sisters), and I think the orphange was in the country and they get to their teens and have an argument and I don't remember much else, sorry. I think one leaves, but I can't remember. I vaguely remember them mending their friendship at the end of the tale.
I think one of the girls was a red head and the other grew up as a brunette.
This was around the early 1980's and may have been anime/manga. I'm unsure if it was a full length film, I was about 4yrs, so it's very vague.


ANIME 2:
The second animation I'm after was a full length movie and it was based around a young child (I think it was a male) and he was native and set in the early stages of man. Not quite caveman, but I think the tribe/community that the child belonged to were like nomads that moved around with the seasons and lived off the land.
I remember fish being caught and possibly the child sitting on a grassy hill and watching buffalo?
I remember one scene where the child laid back in the grass and made pictures out of the clouds... oh and for some reason I rmember the child running a lot.

This was also around the early 1980's and may have been anime/manga.

If anyone can help that'd be great, I'd driving myself nuts!

I'm in the same boat.. I have some anime that I loved and I remember watching on TV, but I could never remember what they were called..

I'm not so sure about Anime 1 but in Anime 2 your talking about a boy, now was he with a friend and was he or his friend in a wheel chair? I can't tell you much more, only that I think in the movie.. does something happen, like the world comes to an end.. or there's a huge earthquake or something like that?

Its annoying me too because this is one that I loved watching, but have forgotten what its called, and have been trying to look it up for years.. sorry I couldn't be muhc help

Oh and you say it was anime.. it might have been manga.. or hentai

I've just found this and thought it might help.. its all the TV listings of almost every channel..

Well, I suppose you have already the answer cause you formule the question long time ago. Wherever: I think you are remembering Candy Candy, an Anime serial from 1977, edited in England at the 80's. There are pages in spanish talking about, just introduce Candy Candy or Sweet Candy in Google.

I have just been informed by my older brother that it's 'Kum Kum' frong about 1975. A anime TV series.

... after all these years of wondering and my brother knew all along!

I have finally found out the 2nd animation was Kum Kum the Prehistoric Boy.
