    FRISP
    desktop connection
    Pc connected over cable to router
    Router shows PC connection
    Router connected to ISP (tested wirelessly over this laptop)
    Computer reports internet connection present
    Usual light on network skt however there is another light flashing rapidly on the skt as well
    Browser reports awaiting reply from Yahoo or other sites
    Tried outlook to download mail it reports sending but errors on receiving

    It looks like my PC is transmitting but not receiving

    Any ideas welcome

    The above results varied to a maximum of 3 received 1 lost

    Try changing your net settings to this, test purposes

    Router:
    Network Settings: 192.168.3.1, DHCP Server off
    In Internet settings: DNS:208.67.222.222, or 4.2.2.2

    Computer: Local Area Properties, Use this local address
    192.168.3.100, subnet 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.3.1, Dns 192.168.3.1

    I think overall it's just a DNS problem with your provider.
