My dog has never had a seizure in his life, until tonight! It scared me sooo bad. I called the vet and they advised me to monitor him tonight and I will be sure to take him to the vet in the morning. Is there anything I should be doing to make sure he is comfortable?

Just watch him, make sure he has enough food and water.

I almost missed that last part of your post.

Just keep an eye on her as your vet said.
It may be a one off thing and she may never have another seizure, or it could be an ongoing problem.

If she has another one then it's time to rush her to the vet to rule out any serious problems.

How old is she?
Surprisingly age can be a factor as I know of quite a few (including my own) That had seizures as puppies and then "grew" out of it.
