Hi, I am 22yrs old and have a history of irregular periods. Ive been having unprotected sex with my husband for 3 years now. I was getting my periods 5 months in a row and then 4 months ago I had a very light brown spotting only enough for the toilet paper. Ever since that spotting I haven't gotten a drop or any thing. Now my nipples have been sore to the touch for a week straight. My breasts or nipples never get sore when I am getting my period or ovulating. I really don't have any other signs of pregnancy, but could I be pregnant. Im afraid to take the test because so many other times I thought I was pregnant and have been let down.

There is a chance that you could be pregnant hun but the only way to find out for definite is with a test. I went through the same sort of thing though a while ago. I thought I was pregnant because I had really sore nipples and was late coming on my period. I had never experienced painful nipples before so I was nearly certain, a test proved me wrong and I got my period soon after. I don't want to put a downer on your situation but I wanted to let you know my experience. And not all women are the same good luck and let me know x

Thanks for telling me your experience katt and taking the time to reply I appreciate it. I took a pregnancy test on the 30th it was negative. So I'm not sure I still could be pregnant, but I'm just waiting a few more weeks then taking another test. My breasts are fuller in the past few days and today are very sore. So either I'm pregnant and its too early to tell, my hormones are going crazy lol, or I'm getting a period soon. I will keep posting until I know for sure either way.

Well at the time I thought I was pregnant I went from a b cup to a c cup but I just put it down to my hormaines after coming off the pill. I am in the same boat again this month I have not had a period since 3rd August and took a test two weeks ago which was negative. I have still not got my period. Its horrible because I have irregular periods I wonder whether I am pregnant or it is another irregular cycle. The doctors will be able to do a blood test which is probably a little more accurate but good luck x

I Have the same issue. My nipples are tender. But haven't had a period since August, I have taken a test as well and it was negative. I just don't know of it is too soon to tell if I am pregnant or if it is just a sign that I may get my period.
