Hi,

I am trying to find a movie that I watched as a kid but I cannot remember the title.

It started as a live action movie with the main character, a boy, being in his room and then getting into a machine. This machine transports him to another world and both he and the world are now a cartoon.

I believe one of his compainions was a dog that had a clock embedded into its body, a "watchdog" I think. And there was a scene where they were ordering a meal and the meal turned out to be the words that they had spoken, kind of in a alphabet soup style.
