    Hot tub re-location

    I built a new deck for my Hot tub and need to relocate the 220 line disconect. Can I add a junction box and add another 8' of 220 line to reach the new hot tub location?

    Yes, however junction box cannot be hidden.

    Also, you CANNOT run "220 line". You need to run conduit with individual conductors including an insulated green ground.

    I would seriously consider having a pro do this. There is too much at stake to get it wrong.
