Hi this my first question um I just recently lost my girlfriend in a hitand run and I been feeling depressed I just wish I had someone to talk to about everything its so hard I have so much help from family and friends but it never seems like enough I just want to see her and touch her and kiss her again. Everyday I try to stay strong but at the end of the day I always get a bad gut feeling I was wondering is there anyway to communicate with her are see her spirit.

Hello,I'm sorry for your loss,everything can feel so surreal after the death of a loved one.
Talking about her to those that knew her,keeping a journal (I know that sounds insane right now) but getting those feelings out is important.

You can still talk to her,I don't know about contacting her spirit,but really you could still not touch or smell her.


I can tell you,this pain will ease,but keep talking to your family and those that love you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was in a family of eight and now I am the only one left.
This happened over a period but very painfull. I felt like a part of me was gone,

Feel better and I know you need that now. When you volenteer it helps get your mind
To start thinking on happier things.we will never forget, but it is a must we start
Thinking on what is at hand and needs help. This is what has helped me. I also read
And believe in God's promises and His love is healing. The Word of God teaches
You cannot commute with the dead. I believe that we are all spirits and we do live for-
Ever and where we end up is up to what we do here on this earth.

I'm so sorry, I can't even imagine. I'd go crazy if something ever happened to my boyfriend.
Research Mediums, look for them online. I'm not sure if any of them will be credible but you never know. Try Cynthia Brown, I think that's what her name is. She's really famous, So IDK if you'll be able to contact her in person or not. Or just pray. She may communicate to you through emotions.

I probably will get a million reddies for this because I may come across as insensitive, but I may as well go ahead and say it.

I know that losing someone you love is not only hard but it really takes a big part of you away with them.

I believe instead of trying to find a way to contact her you should find so support from her family and yours and maybe even a support group in your community. You need to go through a healthy grieving process in order to be emotionally sane and continue to live your life in a "normal" and happy manner.

Going to find a medium will be tricky and there are so many con artists out there that you'll end up broke! I wouldn't suggest getting a Ouija or testing other things out-- you'll be tricked, and trying to contact her will not be helpful to you.

Get support. Even here on AMHD. Talk to people. Write your feelings down and burn it. Make a journal. Make a scrapbook.

I'm not asking you to forget about your girlfriend-- nor should you. I just think trying to contact her would not be a good idea. You need to let go. Remember the good times. I'm sure she would want you to be happy.


I hope you are not offended or think that I'm being insensitive, I really do care. This is must be a very difficult time for you, and I just hope you have a peaceful grieving process.

Losing someone we love is the hardest thing we go through in this life.

You can't get her back and you can't see her again while on this plane.

What you can do ,as has been suggested is write to her in a journal.

Tell her how you are feeling and even little things that happened to you during the day.

I did this when I lost my father and I knew him so well,I could almost hear his responses to what I wrote.

It is healing.It eases the pain until one day you notice you hurt just a little less.It never goes away completely but it becomes tolerable.

This has changed you and you will grow from this.

Your girl loved you and she would never want to see you dwelling in sorrow.

Do what you know would make her proud.

Plant a tree in her honor and see that it grows and flourishes as a living testament of your love.

I believe in a better place where there is peace and love.

Let her rest there.That is where you will meet again someday.
Treasure what you had and make her proud.

Seems as if you are hurting enough right now. Pray!! Looking into other things may give you false hope and then cost you a lot as well. I can relate to you because of a lost within my family I felt the same way, wanting to know how was he. Was he angry, upset, happy, sad etc. I wanted answers from some one. I thought about Sylvia Brown etc. But instead I prayed and through god I was showed signs that he was OK... the pain I know is crucial but you are not alone. God is with you.
