I would like to know if anyone has taken the birth control Mirana and how long it took to get pregnant after being off it. I have been off since October 2008 and still nothing. I am usually very fertile so I don't understand why its taking so long.

I have the same problem. I had the IUD for about almost 1 year and its has been out since like about May of 2008 and I had been trying to get pregnant ever since. I went to the doctor and they diagnosed me with Poly Overian Cyst. The IUD caused it. I suggest you get a vaginal ultrasound. Go to the doctor that may be a posibility. POC can cause infertelity and if you read on the side effects of the IUD it can cause cyst. Thank you keep me updated. And if you need any thing else just let me know. :) hope this info helps you.
