    Veiwing issues?
Hi. I'm a Facebook junky. When I'm not at work I'm usually on face book. I play 2 of the game applications on it (the farm town and farmville)

And when ever I play at the library or at my brothers house, I can see the WHOLE application window. But on my computer, I have to scroll up and down to see everything because its too big. Can I fix this?

I have tried changing the 'text size' on the 'veiw' option on my explorer window, but that didn't help

Sounds like the resolution. That changes the size of things. If the site is made so that it adjusts regardless of resolution it wouldn't be a problem. But if it's not set to adjust, then it can get too big and not fit on the screen. Meaning you'd have to turn the resolution up.

That's at least what I would try first. Right-click on your desktop where there isn't anything. Click on Properties. Then the Settings tab. There should be a screen resolution bar thingy. Move that to the right. You want it in the same basic ratio - if your math is bad you can kind of tell by watching the mini screen. It should just all look smaller as you move right, but if the little box changes shape, then you've change the ratio. Like go from 1024x768 to 1152x864 and watch it. But then move to 1280x800 and see how the box changes shape - that's a different ratio.

Keep in mind everything is going to look smaller when you do this but it'll help fix things that you have to scroll to see. You'll have to decide how you want it set and that's a personal preference. (Although your monitor may be optimized for a particular setting.. )

mmm thanks hon. But its already at 1024x768 and that's as high as it will go. I guess I'm stuck until I get a better monitor or something. I have an old 18 inch emachines monitor :P lol.

Wow, even my thing on the other desk from about 1996-7 will go higher than that. Maybe you'll get lucky and it'll burn itself out soon. ;)
