    Painful impulses
This may sound like a stupid question but someone may know an answer to it..

Whenever I feel depressed or upset my hands tingle or sting really painfully and the only way that I can stop it is if I clench them or hit someone or do something to myself.. I don't know why this is and how to stop it.. any suggestions?

Your mind has taught your body to use violence to stop tingling and experiencing pain. Your mind could just have easily stopped your body by eating five Hershey kisses.

Meanwhile, find a well-recommended counselor and let him or her help you find ways to deal more realistically with your upsets.
