I just changed my radiator because it blew up.
I got a big long crack on the top side of it. Now my car wants to overheat when I crank it.
My fan does not come on.

How do I figure out what the problem is and not spend a fortune trying to fix it?
I know it is probably the relay, or fan motor?
Also, how do I know if I need to change the thermostat?

Thanks, I will try to get on some of this stuff.

Can you tell me how to disconnect the relays so I can swap them out to test and see if that might be the problem or not.
I know how to do it and all I just need to know how to get the relays off.

There is wiring coming into the bottom of them and I can't figure out how to swap them with the wiring in the bottom, cause it seems like it does not remove from the bottom of the relay(making them stationary.

They make rubber-tipped pliers to grab onto relays. An alternative is to size up the situation and gently pry them out with a small screwdriver. After removing the relay, try cleaning the contacts with abrasive cloth and then apply a light coating of dielectric grease. Disconnect the negative battery cable, before trying to remove relays.

Thanks for your help. I got it fixed.
First I checked the relay, it was good.

Then I checked the fan motor it was also good. So then I figured it had to be the thermo sensor.
But, I did not replace that, I just run a toggle switch for the fan inside the car.

Then I thought I had it, but it started running hot very fast, so I figured the thermostat was stuck. So I got one and put it in and now everything is all good. Thanks again.
