I'm doing a roofing job for a neighbor. I have worked for several contractors and know how to properly install the roofing.- But, I've never done an estimate for this type of work. What is a fair price to do a two-stall garage, tear off & dispose of, black-paper, and re-shingle with architectural shingles. The dimensions are 24' x 24'. The pitch is minor.

So you are basically doing the labor so why not quote and hourly rate. Other option is for you to get some quotes and then price yourself well below the pros.
