How to break a lease with more than one leasee.
So this is my first question here. Not sure if I'm in the right section of law but here goes. I am in a lease agreement with two others and I cannot pay rent so I got to move on. I'm trying to be the better person and break the lease officially instead of just moving out. Does anyone know what I can do or the reprocussions of just moving with no notice? Thanks .

    Hello A:

You're breaking the lease no matter how you do it. Informing the landlord that you're doing it WOULD be the polite thing to do.

But, if you break the lease, your roomies have to move too, unless they have separate leases, and they probably don't.
