    Basketball Workouts
What are some ways to get ready for varsity. Cause I'm trying out for varsity and I wanted to know some more tips on offense, defense, footwork, plays, and some exercise that I could work on my own time. So that I can get better on my game. Some times I get really stiff. My parents told me to get loosen up and have confidants on myself.

P.S.: I wanted to know if I don't make it on varsity, can I still go out for j.v. even though I'm a junior or should I talk to the varsity coach about it.

I don't know if you can do j.v. if you don't make it but,
Some stuff you can do to improve is to dribble a lot and at a fast pace that way you can get better. This is just something that I do that helps me. Also don't forget to shoot to keep your shot straight. I figured out that when you dribble a lot and you get really good handling of the ball, your shots also improve because you have a better feel of the ball.

    Hope this helps:)
