    Getting extra paid from vendor
    Hi All,

I am on h1b visa, right now I got job and in that job my company will give me 40 $ per hr job but my vendor offer to increase 5$ per hour. But if I passed to my company. He will not give me single money. So I decide to take that 5$ from vendor.

Question : Can i get check from vendor at a hourly rate?

So can anyone help me on this
    Thanks in advance.

This is REALLY a legal question, but I know the answer which I am posting.

If I read this correctly, your employer (who sponsored you for the H-1B visa) is providing you and your expertise to this vendor, who is offering to pay you an additional $5 per hour over and above your $40 per hour pay.

If that is the case, accepting the extra $5 violates the provisions of your visa, which specifically states that you can only collecting compensation from your sponsoring employer.

    1. Why should vendor know that you get $50 per hour?
    2. If you collect money from vendor, the employee may not like this arrangement. It may even be against your employment terms.
