    Man, Homework.
    It's All Greek To Me. I get most of it, but I forgot how to do open sentences; Well, The Division part. Let Me Show You What I Mean:

    36/b - 3 = 0

    46 - 15
    ---------- = a
    3 + 28

    It has been a long time for me, but can show a primitive meathod.
    The first one is a number that equals 3, since it has a minus 3, start with 3.
    what number would go under or be divisible by 36? 1/3 of 36 is 12. 36 over 12 is 3. 3-3=0.
    2nd problem, again primitive, 15 from 36 is 31,
    and 3+28 is 31,
    31 over is 31 equals 1, but not for sure, if this is a test, don't want to be responsible.

    This means 36 divided by some number, then, if you remove 3, you have to get zero. When do you get a zero by subtracting 3? When that number is also 3, so that 3-3 = 0. That means that . I'll let you guess that one.

    The 'good' method is;

    Add three on both sides;

    Whatever you do on one side, do the same on the other, that's the principle of solving equations with a variable.

    Hope it helped! :)
