I have a TroyBuilt 17.5 B&S. I bought it new about 6 months ago and have used it many times. I get on it today and turn the key and nothing. I checked the battery connections, OK, checked that the blade was not engaged,OK.The engine is not dragging, it simply won't do anything. Any ideas before I have to load it up and take it somewhere? Thanks in advance.

There is also a switch on the clutch/brake pedal in the circuit with the blade switch. In most circuits the battery voltage goes to the key switch, then out through the brake and blede switches to the solenoid. Any one or more of those not working will lead to the problem.

Never mind, just figured out it was the battery.
