Is this a Victorian Lady's Chair?
I am hoping to get more information on a chair I was given. I think it is a Victorian lady's chair from around the 1880s. Is this information correct? The fabric is yellow with a raised texture. The front two legs have wooden wheels on them. The back two legs have no wheels. I do not know what kind of wood the frame is made from. Any information concerning the date, period or style, and materials would be appreciated.

Without really seeing the actual chair I can't tell you, or date it for you, Victorian ladies' chairs did not have arm rests. They didn't have armrests to facilitate their long stiff skirts, to sit comfortably. The best way to authenticate the chair is to take it to an antique dealer and spend a little money to have it appraised properly.
