My son has had a foul odor coming from one side of his nose.. it smells so gross! He has been on antibiotics for 3 weeks and its not going away... we have seen an ENT he said nothing was up there so he just gave us nasal rinses... which still hasn't worked! Does anyone have any other ideas of what it could be?

BTW the doctor said that at age 2 kids don't have their full sinus cavities

I would ask the doctor if he would prescribe a decongestant to get to the deep sinus where the problem is most likely settled and the wash can't get to.

I have read that this could be caused from an infection in the nasal cavaties. The tonsils or nasal polyps(blocking mucous flow), post nasal drip, atrophic rhinitis.
