I had gone to a salon to have highlights put in my hair. I have naturally black hair and had gone for a light brown colour. It looked OK, but after a few washed had gotten really light, almost blonde, so I decided to darken it myself. I went out and bought a perminant darker brown dye. It turned my hair black. Help!! It covered my highlights and everything. Is there anything I can do to strip this colour?

You can strip the color by using a hair color remover. After you strip the color, it will look brassy, so will need to re-color your hair with your chosen color. You will find hair color removal products or hair dyes at a beauty supply store.
