How do I go about adopting my little sister against her parents wishes?
Hello, Im 17 atm living in Australia, I have a baby sister, and I am hoping to adopt her within the next five years. She currently lives with her dad(my step dad) and our mum, I moved out from their care 4 years ago and got a restraining order against my step because of abuse issues. I know my sister is in danger, and I have contacted Child Protection, yet they seem to be doing the very least to even investigate the situation.
I was wondering firstly, is it possible to adopt my sister against our mum and step dads will? And what type of things do I need to know to go about this?
    Thanks, PERFECTintentions.

I don't know Australian law, but I'm guessing the answer to your question is NO.

I don't know of ANY country that allows taking a child without its parents permission--unless abuse is PROVEN, in most cases.

Keep going to CPS. Call the police if you KNOW of abuse.

The other side of this is that in most countries, you are a minor, and minors cannot adopt.
