    Manufactured home hvac system
    Hello to all,
I kneed to know if it is possible to install a regular split system heat pump in a manufactured home, the unit says it is not intended for use in a mobile home, but could it be retrofited in fitting where the old unit was?

It is a 3.5 ton split system heat pump.

Yes it can be done. All electric units as in heat pumps with electric emergency heat do not have the problems gas and oil units have since gas and oil units have to be approved for use in a mobie home.

You might run into a blower problem since mobile home units are designed for a higher static pressure system.
