The passenger and driver side floor boards get hot while driving, this causes the carpet to get wet from condensation. I noticed the catalytic converters are positioned under the floor boards and heating them up, what can I do about this?

Heatshields protect the underbody of the car from high temperature--be sure they are still there and that the are installed tightly.
