Is my wife having a work place affair?
She use to talk about her male work mate each time she came back from work until one day this guy called her on her mobile while she was off duty at home with me. I got annoyed and slapped her. But she insist they are only work mates. Three weeks later she had vulva candidiosis and she voluntarily called me and showed me. I accused her of having got it from extra-marrital sexual contact to which she refused and said she probably got it from the toilet pan at work. My wife is a nurse I do not expect her to claim that she can get sti from the toilet pan. Kindly advise. What do I do. Is she cheating on me?

Vulva candidiasis is not a sexually transmitted disease. It is a common yeast infection.

    Quote:

Vaginal yeast infections occur when new yeast is introduced into the vaginal area, or when there is an increase in the quantity of yeast already present in the vagina relative to the quantity of normal bacteria. For example, when the normal, protective bacteria are eradicated by antibiotics (taken to treat a urinary tract, respiratory, or other types of infection) or by immunosuppressive drugs, the yeast can multiply, invade tissues, and cause irritation of the lining of the vagina (vaginitis).

Vaginal yeast infections can also occur as a result of injury to the inner vagina, such as after chemotherapy. Also, women with suppressed immune systems (for example, those taking cortisone-related medications such as prednisone) develop vaginal yeast infections more frequently than women with normal immunity. Other conditions that may predispose women to developing vaginal yeast infections include diabetes mellitus, pregnancy, and taking oral contraceptives. The use of douches or perfumed vaginal hygiene sprays may also increase a woman's risk of developing a vaginal yeast infection.

A vaginal yeast infection is not considered to be a sexually transmitted infection (STD), since Candida may be present in the normal vagina, and the condition does occur in celibate women. However, it is possible for men to develop symptoms of skin irritation of the penis from a yeast infection after sexual intercourse with an infected partner.

And he may have given it to her since men can be carriers. He may have gotten the yeast infection from a gay bar or vigorous masturbation in an unsanitary area. She must be quite annoyed, she should slap him... with a lawsuit.

Is my wife having a work place affair?
I love my wife. We have one child. I hate being fooled and it appears that I have lost trust in her. If she accepted that she has an affair what next. Ofcose I do not expect her to accept. But how do I start trusting her? Would knowing why she cheats on me help ? We have been married for 5 years now. I would like to give her a chance but I need to be sure that she will not cheat again or should I simply devorce her ?

You have already posted this once.
Because your wife has a yeast infection does not mean she cheated.
    Do you have any proof?

    asking

    Marathon,
The microorganism that causes yeast infections is a normal part of our bodies. It is there all the time. Under certain circumstances, it can over grow and irritate and damage the tissues of the body. A yeast infection is NOT a sign of infidelity.

You have presented no evidence that your wife has ever had an affair. Either you haven't told us everything or you are unreasonably jealous.

If you strike her when you are "annoyed" what do you do when you are really angry?

I think you are lucky she is still with you.
