    Sorry... don't understand the question...

What is a SHUT sewage smell? Clearly you smell sewage, but what is this shut term?

Any unexplained bubbling at any fixtures?

    Let us know...

Sorry for typo, referring to "... sewerage smell" it smells very bad, it seems to come out of the drain open area, and we are in level 6 of a 32 level high rise building, any suggestions on how we can avoid the unpleseant odour and possible reason of cause for the smell? Much appreciate your help!!

And what "drain area" would that be? Please be more specific. Cheers, Tom

I would suggest to put 1/2 gallon of bleach in every drain or do one at time leave it overnight, in the morning poor a bucket of very hot water in every drain I think this will help, and wait what is Tom's recommendation, Thanks.

I would follow johns advice first.Use a few large pans of be oiling water to flush out the drains. If that didn't take the stinky out of your drains the click on back and we'll go to plan "B". Good luck, Tom
