Child support to out of state 20 yr old
Do I still have to pay child support to my 20 yr old daughter who is not in school and is on state aid and has a baby of her own with a ilegal alien as the father, she says she is taking on-line classes. Thank you

I believe this situation varies state by state. However, if she is in the system, I don't believe that you need to pay, however, it is something that varies state by state. You can always put in an anonymous call to the state to get the answer.

    Good luck.

What does your child support paperwork say?

First, you wouldn't pay her anything at all ever. The money would go to the custodial parent. So if the cp is saying that they are still owed money then look at your support papers and see at what age or situation (not being in school etc.) support would stop.

You might want to take this issue to court and ask for a modification. The only other way would be if your paying arrears. And if that's the case the money goes to the mother not the child as the others have mentioned.
