Ask Me Help Desk - 16 and pregnant

I just turned 16 years old and I'm going into my junior year in high school. I've had the same boyfriend for two years and we've never been better. Just recently I found out I'm pregnant, I've been asking my mom for the pill for three months but instead of saying mom I'm having sex I just told her that my period was irregular. My sister who I tell everything to just left for college and I can't tell her I'm pregnant, she will be furious considering 3 of her best friends both got pregnant, one kept one aborted and the other put up for adoption. I cannot keep the baby, I'm too young and I could not provide. I don't know how to tell my mom, specially when she's going through a lot right now. Please help me :(

I think you have no choice but to tell your Mom.

If you are considering termination than you do have a limited time in which you can legally do so.

I know it won't be easy but you must tell your mother.

She may be hurt and upset but she will get over it.You are her daughter and I am sure after the initial shock wears off ,she will be there to support you.

You do need your mother at a time like this.

Im 16 and Prengnat to by the way, I'm 37 weeks now, I honestly believed so much that termination is the worst choice for anyone, unless u got cancer and your going to die in like a year or soon. Something understandable like that is the only reason I would do it, But I told my parents in a letter put it on their bed and went to work stayed at my friends and then I went home the next day to when they would be calm and gotten through the shocking furious faze wqithout me their, their amazingly supportive and I don't have the best guy for my daughters daddy-to-be but All I know is that I love her and care for her so much, my parents do and I have awesome friends, I wouldn't change it for the world and I know she will be happy to just be with her mother and not in a strangers home or aborted. =] don't make a bad miostake think thouroughly consider you, and your babies lives not even your boyfriends. Cause in the end U and your daughter will last a lifetime maybe not u and your boyfriend.

You made your choice... but it may not be a right choice for her. Please don't assume what you have done is the best option for everybody. She must make her own choice. She must decide what is in the best interest all around. First she must tell her mother and they should make the decision together.
